Finally some more news on Andretti's F1 ambitions: https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/andretti-and-cadillac-announce-formula-1-entry-plans-/10417491/

Would love to know the timescale Andretti has in mind... wait for the new engine regulations in '26?Does seem a long way off but would it be worth building an entry for the year before

Depends how badly the 2025 and 2026 cars will differ. Andretti and Cadillac is not bringing a new engine, so I see 2025 as a potential date for entry.

We'll see if the FIA tender brings in more interested parties, I wouldn't mind a full grid of 26 cars if the three new entrants can compete with AlphaTauri, Alpine, Aston Martin, and McLaren rather than struggling to keep up with whoever runs P20. That $200 million "dilution fee" will serve to keep teams like HRT and USF1 away from the grid, but bringing in Andretti sounds perfectly reasonable.

I wouldn't mind an Asian team, so how about TOM's or Mugen from Super Formula? And then for the 12th entry, we'll just grab something from South America. How about Senna Racing Team? Bruno heads it up, maybe Massa and Barrichello can join as ambassadors or something akin to a Lauda-esque role?

Plus always interesting to see how drivers stack up against each other. Can he get outings in practice sessions or is he disqualified due to his time in f1?
Schumacher cannot fulfil the "junior driver" slots of which every car has to do one session per year (so twice per team). The requirement is only bound to number of F1 races competed, you can competed in no more than two GPs.

https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/mercedes-signs-schumacher-as-f1-reserve-driver-for-2023/10411676/

Mick joins Mercedes as their official Reserve Driver. I mean, I hope everyone is happy and healthy for 2023 but I also want to see Schumacher racing sooo.

I mean.. Team Principals playing Musical chairs it seems. Let us try to figure out what has happened.

Ferrari: "We no speak Binotto"
Binotto: "Oh ok bye"
Ferrari: "Vasseur, come on over?"
Alfa Romeo: "Bye bye Vasseur"
Vasseur: "Oh ok then, hi Ferrari"
Ferrari: "We confirm Fred Vasseur"
Alfa Romeo: "Well what about us?"
Seidl: "I'm joining Audi in 2026"
McLaren: "Ok bye bye Seidl now"
Seidl: "No I said 2026"
McLaren: "We did what we did"
McLaren: "Please welcome Andrea Stella."
Alfa Romeo: "Seidl, you said 2023 and Alfa Romeo right?"
Seidl: "Uh yeah sure"
Alfa Romeo: "We've signed Andreas Seidl", but as CEO
Williams: "We want in too. Jost Capito left. And his buddy Demaison"

Did you get all that?

I'll sum it up:
Ferrari: Binotto -> Vasseur (link)
Alfa Romeo: Vasseur -> Seidl (sort of, he'll be the CEO sort of like Zak Brown at McLaren) (link)
McLaren: Seidl -> Stella (link)
Williams: Capito -> TBD (link)

Quite frankly, Andretti is the only one with merits to join the grid.

If Mister Lo has the money, he could team up with someone like Prema or DAMS to make it happen, but I don't want to see "Dorilton Racing Team" any time soon.
