General Information

1.1 - Should a problem/loophole be found in a rule, it will be fixed as soon as possible. The person who found the loophole may or may not be forced to follow the updated rule, depending on how much it compromises fairness.

Drivers

2.1 - Every member must have two drivers per GP weekend, plus a weekly pick, explained in section three.
2.2 - Only one driver from the top three teams of the previous season can be on a member's team.
2.3 - There may be no identical teams, excluding weekly picks.
2.4 - Any driver can be changed in-season for a loss of seven points.
2.5 - In case of injury or death, a member may change the affected driverwithout a loss of points. If the injured driver returns to his previous seat, the member must take them back, or rule 2.4 will be enforced. If no notice is given, the driver will be replaced with his reserve.

Weekly Picks

3.1 - One weekly pick is to be made each race.
3.2 - Each driver may be picked only once a season.
3.3 - One's full season drivers may be picked.
3.4 - Picks must be made on the forum before qualifying.
3.4b - If someone illegally edits a pick on the forum after a race has begun or ended, they will lose that pick as well as the following race. No replacement pick or automatic pick will be given.
3.5 - If a pick is missed, the member will be given the lowest qualified driver they have not already picked.
3.5b - Any points accrued by the auto-pick will be applied to the member's overall points total, but not to their weekly points total.
3.6 - In case of injury or death, the member will be given the replacement driver unless management is otherwise notified.

Post-Season Payouts

4.1 - If any post-season champion payout is to be made, the amount will be defined before the beginning of the season.
4.2 - If a member misses more than three weekly picks over the course of the season, they are ineligible for a payout.

Draft

General Explanation- To determine what second driver a member will receive, MF1 uses a draft system.

5.1 - First driver is chosen by every member. Any driver can be chosen.
5.2 - Each member who shares a common first driver is broken into their own group.
5.3 - Each group is randomly ordered. This will be the draft order.
5.4 - The first person in order for each driver will choose their second driver, within rule 2.2.
5.5 - Each following member in the order for each driver will then choose their second driver, within rules 2.2 and 2.3.
5.6 - Each member will be given one day to make their driver picks. If you know you will not be able to do that, please notify management so we can move to the next person in line and save time.
5.7 - If management is notified of an absence beforehand, the member will be inserted as the next member in the order. If management is not notified, the member will be moved to the end of their group.
5.8 - The draft is run on the forums.
5.9 - Draft begins as soon as the joining period ends.
5.10 - An e-mail will be sent to you when it is your turn to choose a driver, so make sure management has a working e-mail address.

Point System

General Explanation - To keep the game competitive, MF1 does not use the FIA point system.
